As a Certified Professional Life Coach, I’ve noted that workshops and webinars are popping up everywhere on Mindfulness. This term has become very commonplace in literature, behavioral/ mental health reports, neuroscientific research, spiritual conversations, Facebook posts, and podcasts.

”Mindfulness encompasses awareness and acceptance which can help people understand and cope with uncomfortable emotions, allowing them to gain control and relief.” 
The Bible, Scriptures, and theological teachings across cultures and continents regard Mindfulness and Meditation. It’s not just an occasional practice, but a Mindset presence. How can you and I practice being Mindful?
Based on personal and professional experiences, here are five ways to boost or build your Mindfulness:
1. Pray Intentionally. Try to stay focused and aware as you pray. God calls us to meditate on His Words, day and night. Brain activity changes releasing good hormones when you pray and meditate. Mindfulness promotes wellness.
4. Read, list, verbalize, or draw your positives and praises, to help reset an attitude of gratitude. Even when you are having a bad day at home or work, counting your blessings is truly being Mindful. It also resets your focus.
5. Find simple ways to be Mindful; stretching your limbs, deep breathing, savoring the taste or smell of a food or beverage, smiling or laughing. Listening to music, the instruments, or the vocals elevates Mindfulness.
